This coffee comes from the Árboles de Guajes farm in San Lucas Zoquiapan, Mexico, named after a native tree known as the blood tree. It is produced by Hermenegildo Ragoza and Aurelia Carrera, an indigenous Mazatec family. The coffee is 100% Typica variety, washed processed, and grown at 1500 meters above sea level. Flavour notes include baked plum, lime, and berries. It is roasted as an omni roast suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
