Los Duran
Summary
Los Duran is a specialty filter coffee from Costa Rica's West Valley region, produced by Eduardo Duran at Finca El Roble. Grown at 1300-1650 meters altitude, this coffee features the H3 variety (a hybrid of Ethiopian and Caturra). It undergoes a unique La Carpa special honey fermentation: de-pulped cherries are fermented in bags for 24 hours, then dried on white tarps for six days before finishing on raised beds. The cup offers a creamy, buttery texture with notes of dried plum, dark chocolate, and grape.
