Huye Mountain
Summary
A washed microlot from Rwanda's Huye Mountain Washing Station, founded by David Rubanzangabo in 2012. Sourced from a network of smallholder farmers across seven growing zones in southern Rwanda. Made from Red Bourbon variety, processed as washed coffee with cherries pulped, fermented, and washed on the same day, then dried on African beds for 7-14 days. Offers a juicy and refined profile with notes of ripe apricot, bright mandarin, and a delicate floral rosehip finish. Filter roast from Röststätte in Berlin.
