Majirane
Summary
Single origin coffee from the Democratic Republic of Congo, grown between 1,485 and 2,186 metres on the shores of Lake Kivu. Produced by the Majirane Agricultural Cooperative, founded in 2020 by Namwana Muvunga Feza and made up of 500 producers, 44% of whom are women. Bourbon variety, washed process. Tasting notes of jasmine, bergamot and white peach, layering into an aromatic, Earl Grey-like lift rounded out with a honeyed stone fruit sweetness.
