Summary

This specialty coffee comes from the Uchubamba valley in the Masma district of Junin, Peru, grown at 1,800 metres above sea level. It is a collaboration of three neighbouring families – Charlie Palacios, Ivan Gonzales and Hector Orihuela. The coffee is a blend of Caturra and Catuai varieties, processed by the traditional washed method with a 36-hour fermentation in concrete tanks. The cup is juicy and light with balanced acidity and a honey-sweetened herbal tea body. Filter brew brings flower honey, nectarine and plum notes with a hazelnut finish, while espresso highlights apricot and nectarine acidity, green tea and velvet nougat.
