Kenya Aa Gatugi
Summary
Kenya AA Gatugi is a limited edition single origin from Nyeri, a traditional coffee growing region in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Grown at altitudes often exceeding 1,800 masl, it is wet processed: ripe cherries are pulped, fermented for 12–48 hours, washed, and slowly dried on raised African beds. Varieties include Batian, Ruiru, SL28, and SL34. The cup is juicy and clean with vibrant flavours of blackcurrant and satsuma, offering excellent clarity. Best brewed as a filter to capture all the nuances of a top-notch Kenyan coffee.
