Summary

A washed single origin from the Doyo Cooperative in the Mana district of Jimma, western Ethiopia. Smallholder farmers grow indigenous heirloom varieties at 1900-2000 m on plots often under 0.5 hectares, intercropped with maize, teff and bananas. The lot comes through the Jimma Farmers Multi Purpose Agricultural Cooperatives Union. Cherries are sorted and fermented before drying on raised beds, giving a clean, expressive cup. Roasted to highlight sweet and salty malted milk chocolate with deep raisin and subtle citrus notes.
