El Volcancito
Summary
El Volcancito is a washed coffee from the Xinka Community in El Volcancito, Santa Rosa, Guatemala. Produced by smallholder farmers Amildo Pineda, Rigoberto Garcia, Rommel Urias and Miguel Angel Quinteros. The coffee is a mix of varieties, mostly Pache San Ramon, and processed using the washed method. Roasted medium-dark, it offers flavour notes of dark chocolate, butter, almonds, candied orange, cooked pear, nougat, vanilla, and orange marmalade. Designed to work well with any brew method including espresso and filter.
