Etiopía Gola Klebe Lavado Espresso
Summary
This Ethiopian coffee from the Gola Klebe region is produced by Solomon Worku, a pioneer in specialty coffee since 1998. The Dega variety, developed by the Jimma Agricultural Research Center, is grown at 1950 meters above sea level. The coffee undergoes a washed process: cherries are hand-picked, depulped the same day, fermented in water, washed, and dried on raised beds for 10-18 days. It offers a clean, complex cup with notes of stone fruits, caramel, and hazelnuts, a bright citrus acidity, and a delicate body.
