Summary
Finca Buenos Aires in the Dipilto Mountains of northern Nicaragua near the Honduran border, owned by the Valladárez family and founded by Luis Emilio Valladárez over 50 years ago. Producer Olman Valladárez manages the 75-hectare farm. Grown at elevations of 1,200–1,450 masl. Maracaturra variety, a cross between Maragogipe and Caturra. Washed processing. Tasting notes of honey, apricot, and spice. Suitable for both espresso (1:2.5 ratio) and filter (1:16 ratio). The farm placed 3rd in the 2025 Cup of Excellence with a natural Maracaturra.
