Santa Rita Sl-28 Guatemala
Summary
Single-origin washed coffee from Finca Santa Rita in Fraijanes, Guatemala, grown at 1,660-1,735 meters by Rita Graciela Cohen's family, who have farmed this land since the 1800s and replanted 12 of 22 hectares between 2021 and 2023. This lot is the Kenyan variety SL-28, rare in Central America, selected by Scott Agricultural Laboratories in the 1930s. Juicy and electric in the cup, with red currant and blood orange over panela sweetness and a silky, clean finish.
