Kenya Kii Ab
Summary
A single origin Kenyan coffee from the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, produced by smallholder farmers in the Kii factory area. The coffee is grown at 1600-1900 MASL and consists of Batian, SL28, SL34, and Ruiru 11 varieties. Processed using the washed method: freshly picked cherries are depulped, fermented overnight, washed with fresh river water, and sun-dried. Cupping score of 87. Tasting notes include caramel, apple, and black currant with a sweet and velvety profile. Roasted for filter preparation with a profile that balances sugar browning notes while preserving fruity flavors and crisp acidity.
