Monarch is Onyx Coffee Lab's intentionally designed espresso blend, formulated to work with both dairy and plant-based alternatives. The blend features coffees from Colombia (washed) and Ethiopia (natural process), grown at 1800 MASL, and dried on raised beds. It offers a decadent flavor profile with notes of dark chocolate, molasses, red wine, and dried berries, with a thick and syrupy body. This is the darker roasted counterpart to Geometry Blend, designed for filter and espresso preparation. Cup score: 86.
