Summary
Kenya Kagunyu AB from the Kagunyu washing station, part of the Rumukia Coffee Farmer Society in Nyeri, Kenya. Grown by small-holder farmers at the foothills of Mt. Kenya and Aberdare at 1700 MASL. Varieties include SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru 11. Dry Washed process: depulped and fermented dry for 24 hours, channel washed, then dried on raised beds for approximately 15 days. Ultra Light roast (Agtron #130.2). Flavour notes: raisin, grapefruit, caramel, red apple. Suited for both filter and espresso extraction. Cup score: 86.5.
