Summary
This honey-processed coffee from El Salvador comes from Finca Santa Rosa, owned by Jorge Raul Rivera, located in the northern Chalatenango Mountains at 1650 MASL. The Pacamara variety undergoes a red honey process where the depulped coffee is dried on covered raised beds with the mucilage remaining on the seeds. The cup profile is deeply sweet with notes of rose, concord grape, milk chocolate, and pink grapefruit. It has a moderate roast level (Agtron #125) and is suitable for both filter and espresso preparation. The coffee received a cupping score of 87.
