Summary
Colombia Sebastian Ramirez Caturra IPA is a single-origin coffee from Quindio, Colombia, produced by fourth-generation producer Sebastian Ramirez of El Placer Farms. This Caturra variety underwent a 200-hour anaerobic natural fermentation inoculated with a hop-infused mosto mixture, inspired by IPA beer brewing. The coffee was patio dried and roasted to a moderate level on a Diedrich CR-35. The cup profile is fruit forward with heavy fermentation characteristics, offering notes of mango, lemongrass, orange peel, and lemon candy with electric acidity. Suitable for both filter and espresso preparation. Cupping score: 87.
