Colombia La Riviera Sudan Rume is a single-origin coffee from La Riviera farm in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Risaralda, Colombia, cultivated at 1,750 meters above sea level. Producers Julio Madrid and Julio Quiceno, who have been refining their craft since 2013, employ ecological farming and innovative processing. The coffee is of the rare Sudan Rume variety, processed using anaerobic washed method with 36 hours of limited oxygen fermentation, followed by depulp and quick channel washing, then raised-bed dried for approximately twenty days. It has an ultra light roast profile (Agtron #137) suitable for both filter and espresso. Flavour notes include lychee, pineapple, floral, honey, and vanilla. Cup score: 87.
