Summary
Single-origin coffee from producer Brayan Alvear in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia. Grown at 1600 MASL. A blend of Caturra and Colombia varieties. Processed using inoculated co-fermentation with watermelon: 48-hour anaerobic pre-fermentation, depulping, five-day fermentation with dried and fresh watermelon, then patio drying followed by mechanical drying. Flavour profile features watermelon, powdery candy, pineapple, and green apple. Roasted to a moderate (medium) level on a Diedrich CR-35. Suitable for both filter and espresso preparation. Cupping score: 88.
