Sasini
Summary
A washed Kenyan coffee from Tinganga Estate in Kiambu County, grown by Sasini. Tinganga is a 182-hectare estate, one of six run by Sasini, a majority Kenyan-owned, publicly listed company. Kiambu County sits close to the equator with iron-rich, semi-volcanic soils and consistently high altitude; cool overnight temperatures allow cherries to mature slowly, building acidity and complexity. Varieties Batian, Ruiru 11, SL28 and SL34. Expect a sweet, spiced cup with maple syrup character, warm baking spice and a bright clementine finish.
