Peru Augustin Ccoyo - Secret Collab
Summary
A washed Maragogipe from producer Augustin Ccoyo of Finca Progreso, located at 2,050 masl in the Cusco region of Peru. A collaboration with Secret Coffee, BK. Maragogipe is a natural mutation of Typica and the largest coffee variety by bean size, first discovered in 1870 in Bahia, Brazil. The cup is rich and syrupy with notes of black cherry, creamy milk chocolate and ripe apricot. Finca Progreso is a small 4-hectare family farm, handed down through generations, where selective harvesting and slower shade drying support consistent quality.
