Alejandro Martinez
Summary
This microlot coffee comes from Alejandro Martinez's Finca San Jose estate in the Coatepec highlands of Veracruz, Mexico, grown at 1200m elevation. The Anacafe 14 variety is a rust-resistant hybrid. Cherries are hand-picked at full ripeness, fermented whole for 18 hours, then washed and slowly dried for 32 days in a covered drying facility (casa elba). The cup presents fresh green grape, jammy lime, and brown sugar sweetness with vibrant citrus acidity and a creamy, smooth texture. Balanced, elegant, and clean.
