Ethiopian natural coffee from Basha Bekele's Gonjobe Site in Bombe, Bensa, grown at 2350-2500 masl. Basha Bekele farms 12 hectares around Bombe, mostly growing the 74158 variety (known locally as Walega) in semi-forested plots, and buys cherry from over 150 neighbouring producers. This lot produces tiny, dense beans with a huge floral and fruity presence: blue and purple fruits with violet and jasmine florals, high tropical acidity of lychee, kiwi and starfruit, and a silky, sweet finish of blueberry and blackberry jam with mango, guava and a jasmine tea aftertaste.
