
Ngila Estate. Café De Tanzania
Summary
Ngila Estate is a coffee farm located in the Karatu district on the slopes of the Ngorongoro crater in northern Tanzania. The farm was founded in the 1920s and is currently managed by Vera Stücker. This lot, Kent Natural, is processed using the natural method, where coffee cherries are dried with the pulp intact, imparting complex and fruity flavors. The coffee was harvested in July and August 2024 and processed at Ngila Estate, then sent to Rafiki mill in Moshi for hulling and packaging. Sensory profile includes blueberries, strawberries, floral, and milk chocolate.
