Summary

This coffee comes from the Kii Factory, part of the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, Kenya, grown at 1300-1900m elevation on volcanic soils at the foot of Mount Kenya. The washed processing involves hand sorting, floating, pulping, fermentation, washing, and a second fresh water soak, followed by two weeks of drying on raised beds. Varieties are SL28 and SL34. Flavour profile includes mandarin, tarocco orange, caramel, vanilla, gooseberry, and grapefruit.
