Kenia Muranga
Summary
Single-origin specialty coffee from the Muranga region of Kenya. The beans grow on fertile red volcanic soils at the foot of the Aberdare range at 1600-1800 meters above sea level; warm days and cool nights favour slow fruit maturation and sugar accumulation. Fruit is hand-picked, sorted, fermented for 12-24 hours, washed in clean water, and dried on raised beds for 14-18 days, preserving intense sweetness and juiciness. Varieties: Ruiri, SL 28, SL 34. Processed fully washed and roasted for an espresso profile.
