Kenya Eaagads Aa
Summary
Single-origin Kenyan coffee from the Eaagads farm in Ngoingwa location, Kiambu County, an area known for some of the country's earliest coffee farms. Grown at 1400-1600 MASL in iron-rich semi-volcanic soils with abundant sunshine and cool nights that allow slow cherry maturation. Traditional Kenyan fully washed process: cherries are pre-graded, de-pulped, fermented 12-48 hours, washed in grading channels, soaked and dried on raised African beds for 2-3 weeks. Varieties Acaia, K7, Ruiru 11 and SL28. Cupping notes selected by Q Grader Monika: blackcurrant, orange and nougat.
