Tulise Natura, Ethiopia (2026)
Summary
Single-origin Ethiopian coffee from the Tulise kebele, about 18 km east of Yirgacheffe. The Tulise washing station is owned by Hirut Gute, a third-generation producer and one of the few women to own and manage a washing station in Ethiopia. Cherries are sourced from around 500 smallholder farmers in Tulise and neighbouring villages, sorted for ripeness and dried on raised beds, turned by hand, for roughly 15-20 days. Natural process with a sweet, fruit-forward profile of strawberry, nectar and sweetness.
