Honduras El Jardin

Summary

Finca El Jardin is a washed single-origin coffee from Honduras, produced by Mario Samuel Mejia, a member of the CONEXH producer group (Los Compaz), in the Montecillos region of La Paz. Grown at 1,600 metres above sea level on 14 hectares planted with Red and Yellow Catuai and Pacas varieties. The coffee is mechanically demucilaged, fermented for around 30 hours, and sun-dried on raised nylon mesh for 12-15 days, giving a clean, bright profile. Expect tart pink grapefruit, crisp Pink Lady apple and sweet pomegranate with a clean, refreshing finish.
