Summary
A honey-processed Pink Bourbon from José Ever Muñoz's farm La Esperanza in Bajo Horizonte, Suaza, Huila, Colombia, grown at 1,600-1,800 meters above sea level. The coffee was first fermented in cherry for 24 hours, gently de-pulped and fermented for another 30 hours, washed, then dried on raised beds in a parabolic dryer. Tasting notes include papaya, honeysuckle, yellow cherry, mango, syrupy citrus, sugar-cane, chamomile florality, lime, and white peach with a viscous and tropical profile. José placed 1st in his division at the 2024 Copa de Oro competition with this lot.
