Summary

Karenzo, Peaberry is a specialty coffee from Burundi, produced by Long Miles Coffee, sourced from the Kayanza Province. Grown at 1700-2200 MASL, this Red Bourbon variety undergoes washed processing at Heza Washing Station. It presents flavour notes of cranberry, caramelised peach, and cinnamon. The name 'Karenzo' means extra, special, and unique in Kirundi. This peaberry lot (a natural mutation occurring in less than 5% of coffee cherries) is carefully hand-sorted and offers increased complexity in the cup.
