Whirlpool
Summary
Whirlpool is a natural-process coffee from producer Mario Usiel's farm near Buenavista Loxicha in the Sierra Sur region of Oaxaca, Mexico, grown at around 1,300 metres. The varietals are Caturra and Pluma. Grown at a relatively low altitude, the coffee is carefully managed as a natural to develop its character. In the cup it shows juicy notes of plum and nectarine with a velvety mouthfeel and a smooth caramel sweetness.
