India Robusta - Monsooned Malabar

Summary

Single-origin 100% Robusta from the Malabar coast of India, grown at 1100-1200 m. Monsooned Malabar is produced by exposing natural coffee beans in thick piles to moisture-laden monsoon winds in ventilated warehouses along the Arabian Sea during the southwest monsoon, giving the beans their characteristic mellow, low-acid cup. Medium roast with no acidity, tasting of toasted grain, earthy notes and warm spices. Roasted in-house and sold as whole beans.
