Cherry Jam, Kenya
Summary
A washed Kenyan coffee from Kirinyaga, produced by around 1,800 smallholder farmers delivering to the Kainamui Factory. Grown at approximately 1,740 metres above sea level on the slopes of Mount Kenya. Composed of SL28, SL34, Batian and Ruiru 11 varieties, and classified as Peaberry. Offers a classic Kenyan profile with blackcurrant, dark cherry and vibrant acidity, balanced by rich brown sugar sweetness. The cup is lively, clear and elegant, with fruit notes becoming more expressive as it cools.
