Summary

Kilimbi inoculated washed is a Rwandan coffee from the Western Province, grown at 1550-1800m. This Red Bourbon lot was processed using an inoculated washed method: cherry is hand sorted, pre-pulp floated, pulped, then fermented for 24 hours with Lactobacillus plantarum bacteria and Pichia kluyveri yeast, with agitation every six hours, before being washed, graded, and dried on raised beds. Tasting notes include orange zest, hibiscus, and dark chocolate. Available in 250g, 500g, and 1kg sizes as whole bean or ground.
