This coffee comes from Peru, produced by Miguel Ramírez Agurto, a member of the Cooperativa La Prosperidad de Chirinos in the Cajamarca region. The coffee is washed processed and features Catimor, Catuai, and Geisha varieties. Flavor notes include granola, apple, and mandarin. Agurto began growing coffee at age 19 and joined the cooperative in 2004, later serving as secretary and president of the board of directors. The cooperative, founded in 1968, now has 817 members farming about 2,200 hectares in the high-altitude San Ignacio region, offering agronomic support and quality awards to its members.
