India Kaapi Royal is a 100% Robusta coffee from the Travancore region of Tamil Nadu, India, sourced from small local farmers. The coffee is processed using the wet method and sun dried. It features S.274 and CxR varieties grown at 950-1200m elevation. The dark roast (Full City) produces a very full-bodied coffee with intense bitterness and earthy flavours, offering notes of cocoa, tobacco leaf, and spicy tones. It creates a thick crema when prepared as espresso and contains significantly more caffeine than Arabica.
