Sweet Honey

Summary

Organic coffee from Honduras, grown in the shade of mountain forests in the Mercedes Ocotepeque area and traded directly with the Cafesmo cooperative, led by Hidardo Hernandez. The cooperative calls the coffee Los Cipreses after the cypress trees surrounding the farm. Grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides at 1300-1500 m.a.s.l and processed at the Cafesmo washing station. Balanced and sweet with notes of chocolate and honey, omni-roasted for both espresso and filter brewing.
