Summary

This cascara product from Panama is produced by the Brenes-Eleta family at Finca la Aurora farm in the Chiriquí, Boquete region at 1570-1770 meters above sea level. The 30.5-hectare farm has only 14.5% cultivated, with the higher areas covered by protected tropical forest. Shade is provided by native trees and Hass avocado trees, creating a stable microclimate. The Gesha variety cherries undergo dry processing with spontaneous fermentation, resulting in flavour notes of rosehip and apple.
