Aricha
Summary
Aricha is a washed Ethiopian coffee from the Yirgacheffe region, sourced from the Aricha washing station operated by the Birhanu family. 600-700 smallholder farmers deliver their cherries to this station during the harvest season (October to January). The coffee undergoes hand-sorting, depulping, 36-48 hour fermentation with wild yeasts, washing, channel grading, and 12-15 days of drying on raised beds. It offers a light, refreshing citrusy profile with notes of peach, lemon zest, and black tea.
