Orang Utan Sumatra is a classic Indonesian espresso from the Gayo Highlands in Sumatra, Indonesia. This project coffee supports local smallholder farmers through a cooperative and contributes to orangutan habitat conservation. The coffee is made from Tim Tim and Ateng varieties, processed using the washed method, and grown at 1500m altitude on fertile rainforest soil. The flavor profile features caramel, apple, and dark chocolate with a full body, wild and bright acidity, and earthy, funky characteristics. It scored 86.5 points.
