Barahona AA is a single-origin coffee from the Barahona region of the Dominican Republic, grown by 2,600 smallholder farmers at 1,700 meters above sea level. It consists of Typica and Caturra varieties, processed using the washed method. The coffee offers flavour notes of pink grapefruit, macadamia nuts, and dark chocolate, with a full body, moderate acidity, and a sweet, syrupy finish. It holds the AA grade, the highest quality classification in the Dominican Republic, and is roasted for filter preparation.
