The Folks

Based in Lisbon, Portugal, The Folks is a specialty coffee roaster and café group that started with a single Chiado shop in 2022 and has since grown to six cafés around the city. They roast weekly in their own Lisbon roastery, sourcing single-origin lots from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda and beyond through long-time partners. Bags are packed within three days of roasting, and what they serve in their cafés is the same coffee they sell — no second-tier blend. They're into slow moments in a fast city, honest flavour, and coffee with a human face. Currently ranked #34 in Europe and #88 worldwide.
