Ottanta Venti is a Budapest specialty coffee roaster with an Italian heart and a name borrowed from the Pareto principle. Founders Temesvári Szabolcs and Horváth Lajos were home-baristas before Hungary's third wave arrived, obsessing over vintage machines and Neapolitan espresso culture. After years of tinkering—restoring a 1962 La Pavoni, road-tripping around Naples—they launched their own brand in early 2023. Their 80-20 philosophy plays out in 100% arabica blends: medium-dark espresso roasts named Miranda, Callisto, and Dione, each built for balance and intensity. Small-batch, Budapest-roasted, capsule-ready. These guys make the kind of espresso you'd happily drink all weekend.
