Campinola is a Budapest roaster that happily swims against the Nordic tide. Where a lot of specialty roasters chase pale, acidic profiles, Campinola roasts a touch darker — medium-dark, small batches on a German drum roaster, with what they call a pinch of Italian style — without tipping into burnt. The beans are proper specialty grade (84–85+), sourced ethically from individual farms and small co-ops. The line-up is espresso-forward, with eight blends carrying Italian names like Ravello, Santa Lucia and Campania, plus a decaf. Sold online. A great pick if you love a rounder, sweeter, espresso-friendly cup but still want genuine specialty coffee.
