Mantra

Mantra is a specialty coffee roaster based in Budapest, Hungary, with their own café and bar on Veres Pálné utca. They've been roasting since at least 2014 with a refreshingly simple belief: 'Coffee is not bitter, because it's a fruit.' And they mean it. They sell single origins and brewing gear through their webshop, and you can drink their coffee at their central Budapest café, open daily. They also run training for anyone wanting to level up their brew. It's a small, personal operation—the kind where the roastery and café share the same address, and the philosophy is baked into everything they do. No pretense. Just good coffee, treated like the fruit it is.
