Based in Fleurance, France, Ethiquable has been rewriting the rules of fair trade since 2003 — not as a typical roastery, but as a SCOP: a worker-owned cooperative where every employee is a shareholder. They source from over 100 small producer cooperatives across 29 countries, always single-origin, always organic, always traceable to one farming community and its specific development project. Their coffee sits alongside chocolate, tea, and spices, all born from the same ethos: trade that actually transforms lives. It's coffee with a cooperative backbone — transparent, terroir-driven, and built on relationships that go back years. No hype, no gimmicks — just really solid beans from producers who own their slice of the supply chain. A visit to their chocolate factory in the Gers countryside says everything about who they are.
