Café Piha

Bordeaux-based Café Piha is a specialty coffee roaster and café born from wind, travel, and a New Zealand beach. Founders Pierre and Carole named it after a kitesurfing spot in NZ—Pierre trained as a barista there and brought that energy home. Since 2017, they’ve been selecting seasonal coffees from small farms and cooperatives, roasting every day on a Probat for peak freshness, and blending with care. Their single-origin Colombians rotate often. The shop at 69 Rue des Ayres serves coffee, tea, and brewing gear, with online orders shipped across France. This is coffee built on human connections, respect for the product, and a persistent push to improve—in the cup and on the water.
