Tzun Witz, Guatemala
Summary
Tzun Witz, meaning "on the mountain" in Popti Mayan, is a washed single origin espresso from Huehuetenango, Guatemala, grown by first-generation producer Antonia Ramirez Cardona near Concepcion Huista. The coffee combines Caturra and Bourbon varieties and shows flavours of lime, raisin and caramel. Red fruit notes shift toward dried fruit as the cup cools, with caramel-like sweetness and a structured, lively acidity woven through the whole cup.
