Daterra's Reserve is a filter single origin from the Cerrado region of Brazil, produced by Daterra. It is made up of coffees that stand out during the crop but don't fit elsewhere on the menu. This year's pick starts with exceptionally ripe, juicy cherries, which are pulped and carefully dried to preserve their sweetness. In the cup, expect a floral profile with honey-like sweetness, apricot, almond and ripe fruit, alongside yellow fruits, hazelnut and butterscotch. It's a creamy, rounded filter with a sparkling acidity — a classic Brazil profile and a texturally great cup.
