Summary

Single origin coffee from the Alto Mayo Protected Rainforest in northern Peru, produced by the Alto Mayo Agricultural Coffee Cooperative, which unites 943 families across 45 production areas. Grown at 1200–1900 masl from Bourbon and Typica varieties and washed processed, then decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which removes caffeine with hot water and steam without organic solvents. Medium roast with a good body and notes of cacao, nutty syrup, licorice and nutty caramel.
